This is a course developed to begin our progressive pistol training series. It will give shooters a strong base in the fundamentals of marksmanship and weapons handling with a pistol. This is achieved through weapons manipulation and a progressive course of fire. This course will cover drawing of the pistol from a holster, presentation to threat, clearing of malfunctions, and the fundamentals of sound pistol marksmanship. Our entire pistol series is based on a mastery of the fundamentals, allowing the student to apply these skills in real time if need be. This course can be attended by not only novice shooters, but also experienced weapons handlers looking to sharpen their skills. Students will leave this class with a solid foundation to operate a pistol safely, engage threats/targets effectively, and to build upon these skills in more advanced courses.
