(EC1) Enhanced Carbine Program 1

(EC1) Enhanced Carbine Program 1

This course is designed for the novice level carbine shooter. It focuses on the fundamentals of marksmanship and safe weapon manipulation techniques. This class will cover the various weapons conditions, weapons malfunctions, zeroing of the weapon and subsequent firing at various ranges. Various drills conducted will greatly improve the students ability to utilize this weapon system in a faster and more accurate manner.

 

Ammunition Requirements: 300 Rounds Carbine/50 Rounds Pistol
Additional Required Equipment: Appropriate Hearing and eye protection, rifle with iron sights or short/medium range optic, magazine pouch and 3 magazines. These are only the minimum required items, students may bring extra magazines, magazine holders, and any additional safety gear such as elbow/knee pads if they wish. Clothing should be suitable for training (cargo pockets can be used to hold magazines in the event the student does not have magazine holders.).

(EC2) Enhanced Carbine Program 2

This course is designed to build upon the skills learned in our Enhanced Carbine 1 class. In this course the students will be introduced to alternate firing positions, weapons handling while moving, understanding cover and its usage, tactical reloads, and advanced firing techniques. The students will be introduced to stress courses of fire improving not only their ability, but their confidence to operate under these conditions. Students will leave Carbine Level 2 with an above-average understanding of how to operate their rifle in a more dynamic setting.

Prerequisits: EC1 or Equivelant
Ammunition Requirements: 500 Rounds Carbine/100 Rounds Pistol
